Vertebroplasty
This minimally-invasive treatment is used to repair spine fractures caused by osteoporosis or cancer. Bone cement is injected under x-ray guidance into the weakened vertebrae.
It stabilises the spine, often providing immediate relief of pain and helping to prevent further weakening of the spine. It may require a 1-3 night stay in hospital followed by post-operative physiotherapy.
QCOS Spine not only strive for excellence in surgery, but for excellence in patient care.
