Anterior Cervical Disc Replacement (ADR)

This procedure replaces a diseased or damaged disc in the cervical spine (neck) with a specialised implant designed to preserve motion and stability in the neck. This procedure can relieve the pain of pinched nerves in the cervical spine with arm and shoulder pain often relieved immediately. This surgery requires a 3-5 night stay in hospital, followed by post-operative physiotherapy.
